I cant remember exactly where I found this but it was definitely in the crevasses on some filthy cyber 90's fashion blog reblogg blog blog place.
Shot in 1996 this play ground documentary was filmed following the lives of this small 90's sub-culture called 'Dity Girls.'These 13 year old girls were deemed as 'riot girls' and opposed all the norms a 90's young female was into at that time. (I'm guessing Clueless was the mainstream vibe then.) A new type of tom boy girl that carried feminist views, didn't wash their hair and was a bit fuck you. At first I would of shamelessly said these girls were lesbians to be struggling with puberty but after thinking about it, these girls were 13 and were standing for something a lot more meaningful than what I was standing for. (I was standing for getting a cat and getting red highlights in my hair and my ears pierced - I got the cat nothing else.ever)
ANYWAY, watching this old amature footage is pretty cool and they're the epitome of hipsters now. They're Daria's come to life.
I'm privileged to say this girl has sung on my birthday, in my room, with loads of drunk people sitting in silence. She'll make both girls and boys fall in love with her soulful voice. BUT today is the release of her Forgive Me mixtape. If you like the sultry silky sounds of female vocals on a rnb track then this is your girl. Sounds of Badu and Lauryn Hill spring to mind and she's already on her way to sure success and have received notoriety from both labels and music lovers. A London living girl with American roots she's got the best of both. Give this a listen below and see for yourself and get involved.
You know when your bored and you have a pen and a magazine and you draw a hitler moustache on the models in the magazine and give then cute whiskers and a knob somewhere around the head? Yeah well this is nothing like that.

Anyone who's browsing for something interesting to watch give up 40 mins of your time to watch this verrry interesting documentary I got shown the other day. Not ideal to watch if your suffering from loneliness as it might have the reverse effect on you; sorry.
This is a doc that follows the lives of 4 men and their hobbies of doll collecting. Now I don't mean barbie doll collecting like keeping them in their boxes and not using them leading to increase in value through time, I mean collecting as in buying life size dolls, definitely getting them out of their boxes and definitely playing with them. Basically it's about these lonely guys who have some kind of social barrier in which they can only communicate with female dolls instead of real life ones.
And yes if your wondering they do have physical relationships with them.
It's weird and freaky but it's an interesting watch.
